The human race has happiness and bliss at our fingertips in each moment. This is the real possibility of Heaven on Earth:  abundant energy and food, with our lives focused on creation, art, music, laughter, and expansion.

The problems lie in the Shadows;  or rather, in our reactions to them.

How we deal with darkness says a lot about us as people, as communities, and as a species.

Sex, drugs, religion, culture, politics.. these topics are dealt with very differently depending on where we are in the world and who we're talking to.  They are the source of great turmoil, even causing rifts between family members and long-standing friends.

We are living the Shadows of Heaven, right now.  We literally have the possibility of Heaven all around us, but are unwittingly dancing with darkness.

Let us dance gracefully together through the darkness so we can see the shadows for what they are:  our own fears projected onto a world that invites us to be blissful.

The uninitiate is a “Dark Star”, and the Great Work for him is to make his veils transparent by ‘purifying’ them. This ‘purification’ is really ‘simplification’; it is not that the veil is dirty, but that the complexity of its folds makes it opaque. The Great Work therefore consists principally in the solution of complexes. Everything in itself is perfect, but when things are muddled, they become ‘evil’.
